COVID Information

EEP COVID Policy

If your child tested positive or was determined to be a close contact to a positive they cannot return to EEP until the return date give by the COVID Response Team. In order to return to EEP, you must present the email notification from the Tahoma School District's COVID Response Team to your EEP site manager. Do not return to EEP before the return date given by the COVID Response Team. If you have questions about your child's return date, please email eep@tahomasd.us and someone will contact you to verify your date.

COVID Reimbursement Policy

If your child has been determined a close contact to a positive case from school or EEP, we will reimburse you up to 7 days of the quarantine period. We will only reimburse for the days your child would have attended EEP within the 7 day quarantine period. Your child will be able to be tested for COVID on day 5 of their quarantine. If you choose not to test your child day 5 or later, we will only cover up to the 7 days quarantine. So if your child attends 3 days in the first 7 days of quarantine, we will cover those 3 days. 

If your child tests positive for COVID, we will reimburse for the 10 days your child must quarantine. We will only reimburse you for the days your child would have attended EEP during the 10 day quarantine period.
