Secondary Program

Middle School - Grade 6-8

In our middle schools, grades 6, 7, and 8 we have highly capable program options for ELA, Social Studies, and Mathematics.

ELA/Social Studies are provided in a block class format that include opportunities for project based learning, rigorous questioning strategies, and protocols to engage students in thoughtful discourse and debate.

For math, all qualified students are offered accelerated opportunities. The evaluation for accelerated math placement is completed in the spring of grade 5 and is a separate process from highly capable screening. Please contact your student's counselor for questions regarding math placement or visit the math placement page: Math Placement Information

High School - Grades 9-12

At the high school, highly capable students are served in the following areas: accelerated math, AP Classes, College in the High School classes and Running Start. All these options are available to highly capable and general education students who meet the requirements. Please contact your student's counselor for more information about these classes and programs.
