Tahoma observes Pride Month in June
Posted on 06/01/2021
June has been designated as Pride month and is currently celebrated each year to honor Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and other Queer people by honoring the 1969 Stonewall gay pride march.  Tahoma stands in solidarity with our LGBTQ students, parents and staff and celebrates the contributions of LGBTQ citizens to our community, nation and world.  The Law Library of Congress has compiled guides to commemorative observations, laws and resolutions related to LGBTQ Pride Month.  Learn more at https://www.loc.gov/lgbt-pride-month/about/
