Camp Casey

Photo of Camp Casey

Camp Casey is located on Whidbey Island, and is owned and operated by Seattle Pacific University. Camp Casey has a huge play field, a mile-long beach, and unique lodging in historic U.S. Army facilities, making it the perfect place for fun, exploration, and team bonding.

For over 40 years, Tahoma’s fifth graders have been given the opportunity to attend an overnight, outdoor educational experience with other fifth grade students from around the district. We believe Camp Casey has historically had a positive impact on the climate & culture of our students and better prepares them for their middle school experience. This experience allows students to make friends from other elementary schools who will be their classmates the following year at either Summit Trail or Maple View Middle School.
