Kindergarten Camp

Kindergarten Camp is designed to help students and families transition into the school environment.

Students are learning how to “do school” through literacy & math based activities while experiencing the rules, routines and procedures of a typical Kindergarten day. Students will develop a familiarity with staff and peers preparing them for their first year in elementary school. Kindergarten Camp is not an attempt to “catch up” students or drill students on academics. It is 4 half-days that support students as they transition to full-day kindergarten.

Camp is a great opportunity for all students, however, due to limited space, we must prioritize students that will benefit most from a jump start as they transition into kindergarten. Information, such as academic skills and social-emotional skills/behaviors gathered from the Kindergarten Assessment event as well as parent input received in the registration documentation, are all utilized as a part of the selection process.

Please note, Kindergarten Camp is an invitation only event. We anticipate emailing invitations to families by the end of June.

Kindergarten Camp Dates:

Tuesday - Friday, August 11-14, 2026, 9:00-11:30 a.m.

Important Notes:

  • Parents provide transportation.
  • Students are expected to attend all four days.
  • Current immunization records must be on file.
  • Documentation for medical needs/medication must be on file.
