World Language Assessment for Grades 8-12

Tahoma School District offers World Language Competency-Based Assessments, so students who speak a language other than English can demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, listening and speaking in any language and earn transcript credits, even if that language is not offered at our schools.

Testing is offered in the fall and spring for 8th - 12th graders. We are offering testing at the end of October for students at Maple View Middle School (on 10/28/25), Summit Trail Middle School (on 10/30/25), and Tahoma High School (on 10/29/25).
