FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Maple Valley, Washington) – October 14, 2025
The Tahoma School Board of Directors voted tonight to officially approve the two replacement levy propositions: Replacement Educational Programs & Operations (EP&O) Levy and Replacement Technology Capital Projects (Tech) Levy, which will be on the February 10, 2026 ballot.
This marks a crucial step in ensuring our district can continue to provide high-quality education, maintain essential programs, and invest in safe, modern learning environments for every student.
"We are grateful for the Board's thoughtful consideration and approval of our two replacement levies," said Dr. Ginger Callison, Superintendent of Tahoma School District.. "I’d also like to thank the members of our Capital Facilities Committee for their hard work last school year. It was in large part due to their recommendation that we decided to bring these replacement levies to the board. These two propositions are the foundation of our ability to meet the needs of our students, from core academic instruction to safe buildings and up-to-date technology. We look forward to sharing detailed information with our community in the coming weeks."
