Tahoma School Board Vote to Appoint Position 4 Vacancy

On Thursday, May 15, the Tahoma school board interviewed 5 candidates for Director Position 4. By a vote of 3-0, the board appointed Nina Rose to fill the vacancy.

“I stepped up to serve on our board because I care deeply about our students, our educators, and our community. I’m committed to listening, and learning, and look forward to leading with balance, integrity, and heart.” Once she takes the Oath of Office, we’ll share more about Nina.

Nina will serve until the next school board election takes place in November. As a reminder, after that time, the seat will be on the ballot and the community will elect someone to complete the remaining 2 years of the original 4-year term.
