Inclement Weather Related Communications
This time of year, weather can be unpredictable and can impact school schedules, bus routes and district activities. Here are the ways we'll communicate school schedule changes when inclement weather hits:
- Based on your notification preferences, we use ParentSquare to call, text, email or notify via the app. For more information, visit our ParentSquare page.
- The Tahoma School District website homepage will have a pop up with information for weather related updates. Inclement weather/snow routes can be found on our Inclement Weather Routes webpage, click on your student's school to find your inclement weather/snow route information.
- FlashAlert - This tool does push notifications of closure information. Visit FlashAlert to sign up.
- The TSD Facebook page will be updated if there are delays or closures.
- Local radio and TV stations will also provide information regarding school schedule changes.
