Tim Talmadge named as new Cedar River Elementary Principal

We are excited to share that Tim Talmadge has been selected as the next Principal of Cedar River Elementary School for the 2026-27 school year! (As a reminder, current CRES Principal Fritz Gere is retiring at the end of this school year after more than 30 years serving in education.)

Currently serving as the school’s Assistant Principal, Tim has spent his time building strong roots within the Cedar River community. We’re looking forward to a seamless transition and a continued focus on the "Otter Way."
