    Classroom Preparation
Teachers will be taking students through some preparation activities before testing. Students will get an overview of what the test is and how the on-line testing tools work. Students will also get to practice with both the math and the ELA test items so they are familiar with the on-line tools and some of the new features possible with computer based testing that are different from pencil and paper testing. The district has been shifting our district unit assessment items to be more aligned to the Common Core standards so the level of thinking required by the new standards will not be completely new.
