Tabletop

The Table Top conversation is a discussion between a Tahoma student and his/her parent, guardian, or other significant adult. The intent of this conversation is to support the student's development of an individual, viable, and valued path to life-long personal and professional success. The focus of the Table Top conversation and the timing differs by grade level. We believe that these ongoing conversations between parent and student are critical in supporting students to better understand themselves and to see how the decisions they make at each step in their school career may impact options open to them after they leave the Tahoma School system. Table top conversations were implemented at the high school in Fall 2012. Over time, the table top conversations will expand to include grades 5-9.
