Comparison of proposed fall learning models

Comparison of proposed fall learning models

Dear Tahoma community,

In the past several months, you've asked us excellent questions, expressed concerns and frustrations and contributed ideas about reopening school in the fall. We're asking for your continued patience and understanding as we near the completion of reopening plans. Staff members are working with the School Board to refine the choices that will be available to students.

Until then, here is a simplified representation of the two models that the Tahoma School Board is currently considering offering to families in the fall.

The board will begin discussing reopening scenarios during tonight's meeting. They will continue discussion and possibly take action during tomorrow's meeting.

Tuesday's meeting will also include a review of the proposed K-12 100 percent online learning curriculum.

For details about those meetings, please see the events posted on our page. Or, visit and click on "Our District," then "School Board," then "Board Docs.

Thank you,
Tahoma Communications Office
