Free meals for children begin March 18

Beginning Wednesday, March, 18, Tahoma Schools Nutrition Services staff will serve free lunch for any child age 18 and younger each weekday at two locations:

  1. Lake Wilderness Elementary, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on the bus loop (south entrance closest to the roundabout on Witte). Address: 24216 Witte Road S.E.
  2. Tahoma High School, from noon to 1 p.m., on the bus loop (east entrance closest to Les Schwab). Address: 23499 S.E. Tahoma Way.

The meals will be “grab and go” style, and families may drive up or walk up for service. Included are a sack lunch and snacks. Name and student ID number are not required; however, the student must be present to receive a meal.
