School board places 2 levy requests on Feb. 9 ballot

Tahoma School District will ask voters to approve two levy measures on the Feb. 9, 2010 election ballot that will continue existing staffing, programs and supplies.

At its meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 15, the board formally approved resolutions to place two levies on the Feb. 9 ballot. Proposition 1 is a four-year Educational Programs and Operations Levy. It replaces the existing levy, which expires at the end of 2010. The board also approved Proposition 2, a four-year Technology Levy, which replaces the existing levy that expires at the end of 2010.
